What I meant was, for example..I have a bad ankle...I need modern
footwear, or I can do lifetime damage to it. If I was a medieval person,
(see, I spelled it right this time!) I'd be out of luck. I could not do
this, if I was forced to wear moccasins, or something like that. Every
thing else you wrote, I agree with 100%
