Hey!- I think it's time the Scots got a say in this. How about Wallacetoria
or Bruceburg or South Lothian.
The truth of the matter is that the concept of a principality won't fly in
this Kingdom. It wont fly because unless the powers that be, namely the
Crown, Kingdom Seneschal, Landed Baron and Baroness, and each and every
Baronial and Shire Seneschal along with the majority of the population in this
kingdom all pull together and work for this common goal. This commanality of
goal has never seemed to come together all at once. This idea of a
principality has been bandied about since before the reign of Duchess Rowan, (
Duke Patrick Michael forbad me to speak the P word in his presence during his
first reign ). This issue had been debated so many times in the past that the
number of angels on a pin head seems comprehensible. I have been a proponant
of a Principality since the first discussion many years ago. I would love to
see it happen- I don't care if I'm in the split or not, it just needs to
happen eventually. With the Kingdom now divided into the regions and a very
real cultural split between the North and South, it just seems logical for it
to happen soon while the damage control and fallout of the split can be
managed as gracefully as possible. Will it ever happen? YES. Will I ever see
it happen? PROBABLY NOT!
