Hey there, if wanting passes for the TRF, the best way is to show up during
the open 'troll' hours at the SCA post and collect them.  You can contact
the TRF/SCA liason (passes4trf at yahoo.com) before your date and request
tickets via mail (give 2 weeks advance if outside the Houston area), but if
they don't appear, then just go anyway.  Also, you can contact the TRF/SCA
liason and just advise them you are coming on such-n-such date, and usually
your name is added to the troll list.

The current troll location is a new Shell Gas station, on Hwy 1774, just NW
of Magnolia, about a mile south of the main patrons entrance (if I recall
right).  There should be a car that with a volunteer from the SCA booth,
providing passes, usually with an SCA sign in the dash.  Collect your
tickets and head to the back entrance for TRF, the Participants entrance.

Once on site, at the SCA booth, be sure to sign up for your volunteer hours.
They do cross-check those hours worked against the troll list.

The hours for the troll site are firm:
Friday evening 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday morning 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 am

If you are unable to collect your tickets during those troll hours, you will
need to secure tickets in advance via the e-mail access.
