[Ansteorra] The Far West.

Greetings to my family,

No, Sir Romanius you cannot have a free trip to my investiture.  Besides it already happened.  They did it the night of the event.  While this is a far flung barony and had many exotic lands,  it is alas a poor one.  However I am considering raising taxes so I will have something set aside for when I return to my Baronial estate in Ansteorra for my retirement.  However what I can offer is a place to stay if someone should like to visit.  I have lands in Japan, Korea, Okinawa and Guam. Though only the first three have any real population.

I did consider claiming the Far West for Ansteorra,  however I think that might be treason against the King of the West.  Though I am a mighty fighter,  my champian (Lord Cadogan of Atenvelt) and I would be sorely set to stand off the full might of the hordes of the western kingdom.  I am not sure if the Army of Hero's would be able to get to my aid in time and might arrive to find a hostile army waiting for them on the shores.  Besides that, I am not sure Ansteorra, even with it's vast coastline, has a navy to get the army of heros there. They could perhaps march overland and invade the west,  however the way would be long and there are many barbaian kingdoms between the West and Ansteorra.  I am not sure the blood of the kingdoms heros would be worth such an endevour.  I think their blood would be better spent against our foes to he east during our coming war with Trimaris.

I do thank you all for the words of support I have been receiving.  I want you all to know you all will aways hold a special place in my heart, not matter where I am.
