[Ansteorra] Southern and Coastal Regional Scribes posts open

Greetings Ansteorrans, 

Southern Scribe and Coastal Scribe Regional deputy posts are open for applications.   
Some duties of the office include(from the Scribes Handbook):
* Encouraging scribal activity in their region and helping new scribes get started
* Copying blank charters onto the approved paper and distributing them for painting
* Collecting painted scrolls from scribes in their region
* Reporting Quarterly to Star Signet about the scribal activity in their region
* Making award recommendations about scribes in their region to the Crown
* Being in contact with the scribal guilds and guild leaders in their region

The Regional Scribes are deputies to Star Signet. Please send applications, and 
proof of SCA membership to Star Signet at <hillaryrg at yahoo dot com>.  

The deadline dates for application have passed, and there are NO current applicants - so if you
were waiting to see who else had applied - now's your time to serve your kingdom and region by
sending in an application.  If these posts are not filled, scribes in the region will have to get
their charter scrolls directly from Star Signet causing delays.  

If you know a bit about charter painting, scribal arts and some administrative skills, please drop
me a line and lets chat.  You don't have to be a great scribe to be the regional - we are all
learning.
