It sounds like a really cool event in the making ...
   
  Decent weather so how about in the fall
  Everyone needs a wagon - or a wheel barrow (for the tent etc.)
   
  Set up a kitchen every 5 miles or so and walk between for the whole weekend (it would have to be a big circle to get back to where we left the "dragons"
   
  have a bardic competition while in motion and perhaps some highway men for a bit of excitement...
   
  (I remember seeing some group of trail riders in the fall every year in La March Sauvage doing just about the same thing - no highwaymen though.)
