Yes...the original was built for the "Field of the Cloth of Gold" held
in June 1520.  An event held by King Henry VIII of England and King
Francis I of France.

In episode 2 they built a "castle" from wooden stick framing and painted
canvas. Looked incredible. If this is something that was really done at
that time I would like to replicate this technique on some buildings on
an event site.

Any info would be appreciated.
