I wrote "Today", meaning the day I wrote. The Julian calendar is 13
days behind the Gregorian calendar from AD 1900-2100, so I wrote that
note on 20 January (Julian calendar).

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_calendar#Eastern_Orthodox_usage>
points out that some Orthodox churches celebrate the Nativity based on
the Gregorian calendar (or Gregorian until 2800). So (now) yesterday
was also, for them as for the Western churches, "The Feast of the
Presentation of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ in the Temple"
or "The Meeting of Our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ".
Candlemas when it's at home.
