I've been a member since the seventies, when officers didn't even have to be members. I don't want the corporation to go away.
I want people to understand how much of the SCA is put together by volunteers, to recognize that we are, first and foremost, a co-op, and we all have to work together for it to thrive.
I want the corporation to act like it's a support organization, not an owner.
I want Ansteorra to own the Ansteorran crowns and thrones.
I want the Corporation's activities scaled back to fit the budget, not the income sources scaled up to meet the desired activities.
Ideally, I'd like separate regional and local corporations with financial autonomy, so the SCA is not a fat, rich target for lawyers.
I'd like the BoD members to stay in people's homes instead of hotels when they hold meetings, since the supposed purpose is for us to get to know them better.
I want to move the corporation out of one of the most expensive cities in the country.
I want the absurd increase in paperwork in the last seven to ten years scaled back, so small towns can support branches again.
I want the corporation to be a support for our kingdoms, rather than the current drain.
And I want a mansion and a yacht.
