We already have the Hospitaler's badge to identify the 'go to' person.
At a big event they are likely to be hard to find or very busy.
This is so the rest of us can know who is new and keep and eye open to
see how we might help them. If the new person doesn't wish to be
singled out as a new person or ends up getting tired of all people
coming by and saying "hello, I see you're new here. Is there anything
I can help you with." then they can take it off.
There are times, even after playing for 20 years, that *I* feel alone
and that I don't know any one. I wonder if I could don one of these
symbols and get away with it?
