This makes much more sense than tagging/branding the new people.  It was 
MONTHS before I realized each office had a "badge".  One of the ladies in 
another group I belong to wears a leather "license plate" hanging off her 
belt in the back.  It has the www.xxxxxx.xxx website on it.  It leaves no 
doubt that this person is part of a group, she probably can give you answers 
and is friendly (otherwise she wouldn't be wearing it).

Most people wear some type of belt, it would be so much easier to "hang" 
something off your belt than to pin it, sash it, carry it, etc.
