28 Aug will prove to be a most entertaining day at Middleford's
Warchieftain/Cavalier of the Bridge.

For those who need an away score the archery range will be available from 9
Am till Noon. This range will only be for those who need an away score for
their Royal Round scores. NO loaner gear will be avaliable.

At 1 PM till 4 PM will be the combat archery golf. Navigate your way
through 9 holes of water hazzards, enemy soldiers, and other things of
interest to be the one with the lowest score. Bring a combat legal bow.
Combat arrows will be provided. No armor is required although a glove for
the bow hand is very adviseable. It is recommended that you use a long bow
or a recurve. "Putting" will be very difficult with a crossbow as the arrow
must stay in the hole to count. There will be a watering hole at the 5th
hole, but you might want to bring some also. The prize will be a set of one
dozen period arrows, made by HL Talon of Blackoak, that will be cut to the
proper length for the winner.

The feast will be the entrants to the cooking contest. This is a "On Site"
cooking competition. There will be 4 categories: Open, Period, Open Desert,
Period Desert. A list of ingredients must be provided. The dish must be
big enough to feed 10 - 15 people. Extra points will be given based on the
quantity of the dish.

See you there.

Gilli

The more arrows you loose, the more that can hit GOLD.
