Heraldry

Correct me if I'm wrong here, as I am shooting off the hip since my
Kingdom Law book is at home. A Barony only needs, technically, 25
sustaining (contributing? whatever it is when you get the BlackStar?)
members. There is of course the growing period and all, but that is not
a large number of people, assuming all members of the Barony were
sustaining. (I know, not likely, but in my eyes very feasible.) How
populated are the smaller baronies of Ansteorra? (I couldn't even give
a guess for Bryn Gwlad due to not knowing how many are paid members, or
even from Bryn Gwlad, at functions.)

Again shooting wildly into the dark:
It seems to me that a crier/meeting/court(?) herald would be more likely
to happen in the smaller groups during period. While in modern Society,
we have the scholarly herald being more promenient (as I see it, and is
being discussed) in the smaller groups.

One day I'm gonna put someone's eye out shooting like this. Probably my
own.
