judging ethics

When I ran an (Amtgard)Interkingdom A&S I placed a rule on the judges.
The rule was that they would not be allowed to judge if their significant
other were entering in any of the events. It has always been my rule
that no one running or judging an event may be allowed IF their
significant other were to participate in the event. It is just my
personal code of ethics and not an official thing. I would like to
know if the S.C.A. has similar rules for judging and or autocrating
competitions that are official. Any unofficial? How about judging your
own student/squire/cadett/page, would you condsider it an ethical problem
to judge their work versus a rival's s/s/c/p?
