Damn the luck!  If you'd needed it six years ago, I'd have been up to
Bryn Gwlad in a heartbeat (OK, a couple of hours - Bjornsborg to Brwn
Gwlad is a 90 minute drive).

At the time, I was about the only person in the area that regularly
fought in maille, and most folks thought I was crazy.  Had a real
spiff Sutton Hoo style helm, too, with an etched brass nasal.  I could
have been immortalized forever!  Sigh.  Don't suppose Steve is willing
to pay travel expenses from St. Louis?

'Course, the artist would have had to probably fudge a bit on the
height, seeing as I'm only 5'6".  There's another Norse type here in
Three Rivers that's about the same size as me.  One of the local
pundits has tagged us as the "Pygmy Vikings from Hell".
