I had always thought that they best way to improve your terminology was to 
use them.  I know that people can be a bit dim at times, but I'm sure that 
they'll catch on.  The people who actually begin to use terms publicly will 
get the changes made.  I figure if "non scriptum, non est", then "scriptum 
est."  Once people start to use alternative terms, the best ones will catch 
on.  You may need to define things a few times for people to get the hang of 
things, but that's easy.

What's the easiest way to make things work differently?  Change them.
