I don't know that Shadowlands is wrong!! When I spoke to the people 
there, I told them that we could not act on the bid until you had it in 
writing.  I assumed (and I expect we are going to have to keep in touch 
closely to keep both of us from doing this) that you felt that it must 
be in writing, with the seneschal's signature on it, before we could 
act.  

Have you received any other bids?  We had heard that Ravensfort was 
working on one, but I'm not sure that Shadowlands wouldn't be a better 
choice anyway.  Galen will be returning home tonight, and we will most 
likely call you to try to straighten this out, and Queen's, too.  When 
I spoke to Julie, I did not expect her to call you.  I certainly didn't 
want you to look bad in any of this.
