To be more precise, it is the layout and information included that I
think should be standardized. I have seen this done in other kingdoms
newsletters and the effect is quite good.

You know you will find the name
of the event at the top and the dates under that. Then certain
information in a bullet list including:
 - time the site opens
 - site fee,
 - feast fee (or No Feast)
 - Alchohol allowed
 - Sanitary facilities (Port-a-potties, flush toilets, showers, hot showers)
 - the sponsoring group.

Next comes A BLANK LINE, a blurb on the main activity (with start time), a
BLANK LINE, a blurb on other activities(and start times), A BLANK LINE, a
blurb on the feast (if any), A BLANK LINE, any notes, A BLANK LINE and
contact info. Finaly there is the map (if any) and written directions at
the bottom.

Now I am not saying THIS LAYOUT has to be used, but if we standardize
what information we include (being flexable if the circumstances warrent)
and how we lay it out, finding what you need in event announcements would
be a much easier process and we would not leave out important info as often.

I would *like* to see some improvements like this made to the BlackStar,
even if they do accidently save time, space or money.
