Why??? Because some of the subject matter that these artists painted was based
on the Arthurian Legend. Granted, the costumes, artistic style etc is NOT
period (for lack of a better term). but, I feel that this art form has captured
the romance and magic of the medieval period.  A lot of what made the SCA such
a magic place to be.
