I have recently located the following neat Web pages. Several will be of
particular notice to Vikings out there:

http://www.ftech.net/~regia/naalbind.htm
(A nifty "how to" article about the Viking single-needle knitting
technique, maintained by the Regia Angelorum folks --- who also have
a heck of an
Anglo Saxon site that you can get to from here!)

http://www.duke.edu/~scg3/string.html
(An SCA textile arts page, primarily devoted to tablet weaving, but
also
has information on twill, sprangt, and medieval braids. Plus a
bunch of
links to other historical textile arts sites.)

http://www.mtsu.edu/~kgregg/SCA/cards.html
(A comprehensive SCA tablet weaving site. It's still under
construction
and needs your input if you're a tablet weaver, but it already had
how to
        info and pattern drafts available.)

http://blah.bvuvc.edu/bt
(A page devoted to the Bayeux Tapestry, with downloadable images.)

Just for your information!!
