         At the behest of friends and neighbors, may I present to you
         details of the upcoming:

                        August 30 - September 1
                          (Labor Day Weekend)

         Come one and all and join us as we journey to exotic lands and
         fight for the fair city of Jerusalem.  The time is the First
         Crusade, and we are in the environs of that magical of holy
         cities.

         There you shall find many diversions and entertainments.  .  .  .
         Perhaps you will be so enchanted that you will never wish to
         leave.  .  .  .  Among the delight offered up to you, you will
         find brave souls fighting for the city, beautiful dancing women,
         classes to occupy and enlighten the mind, a tavern run by Lord
         Geoff Weakarm, drumming, dancing, and much more!

         A wonderful Middle Eastern feast will be served up by the lovely
         and talented Lady Sarah Navarre, featuring lightly spiced chicken,
         as well as other tempting Middle Eastern dishes.

         There will be both chivalric and rapier fighting, and a
         Challenge Tourney for Monday.

         An A&S competition will feature any work you can create using
         anything you can find at the site that is not your own (this does
         not mean carrying off someone else's camp site).

         Among the classes offered, there will be:
         Middle Eastern Dancing, Heraldry, Brewing, and Beginning Drumming,
         as well as How to Make "Cool Scarves."

         Please call ahead for feast reservations:

         The site will be the Stones of Raven's Fort.  This is a primitive
         site, so bring water.  Among other wonders, it boast limed privies
         and solar showers.  Due to the drought, open fires will not be
         allowed.  Pets are allowed only on leash, and with *written* proof
         of vaccinations.
         Site opens at 6:00 PM on Friday (Sunset is 7:47, and the Moon will
         be two days past Full, Sunrise Saturday at 6:59 AM)
