I received this email today from one of my many mailing lists....  
This sounds like a nasty little virus....watch out for it!

For all users out there, there is a Trojan Horse called Penpal
Greetings. It is located in Internet E-Mail. In your mail-reader it will
come up as "Penpal Greetings", once you read this it will totally
destroy your boot sector. If you do get this, and read it, it will send
it to every email address in your mailbox currently, kind of like
sneezing in a big room and giving everyone a cold. If you can, get out
of your mailreader without reading it and then exit to dos and blow out
the entire mail directory. A small loss for what could be worse.
