Why do some treat heralds so badly

I think this sounds nifty too.  We should grasp onto moments like
that, teach them and spread them around.  Everybody has to learn. 
We must do to learn.  I wonder what would happen if a fraction of the 
attention we spend to training fighters was spent training heralds?
