You know I'm not the sort to sit quietly and accept things that go 
against my beliefs.  When I first started in the SCA I didn't get out 
much beyond the Society.  But people were giving and helped me to 
pull my weight.  Thanks was generally met with the suggestion that 
someday I do the same for someone else.

I was there when Inman spoke about how Ansteorra would stand up to 
the BOD, and BE ANSTEORRA.  Who we are comes less from the BOD than 
it did before.  We are a society of our own and we DO need to look to 
each other more than we look over there.  It would be interesting to 
see what would really happen if we decided to stand for what we say 
we believe in.
