                      Bjornsborg 20th Year Celebration

Attend! Attend!

Despite our best laid plans, manipulations and heroic attempts to arouse
your generosity, the Barony of Bjornsborg has no choice but to announce that
we will be hosting our own

20th BARONIAL ANNIVERSARY JUBILEE.

We proudly invite you to join us at Whitewater Sports in Sattler, Texas on
November 1-3, 1996 for this momentous occasion.

The event will feature a rapier tournament judged on honor, skill, and
style, an archery pouch shoot of a curious nature, the Kirk Douglas Klassic
Axe Throw, Rock, a historical riddle quest, traditional pumpkin carving
(byop). Bjornsborg's Museum of Unnatural History (guided tours available!),
the Great Horns Tavern (R. Ulfgarson, proprietor), and for the heavy
fighters, the end of the world--Viking Style! (Yes, we mean Ragnarok!).

Evening will feature a grand March of Precedence and a Bjornsborg feast of
favorites including such classics as:

Leek Soup, Alfredo's Meat Pies, Smoked Salmon, Marinated Vegetables, Pickled
eggs, Marbled eggs, Maeve's Pottage, Rice and Artichoke Salad, A subtlety by
Alisandre, Emrys' Chicken Pies, Seraphina's Cream Cheese and Spinach
Pastries, Cheese Balls, Breads, Brisket, Jehanne's Carrots, a surprise stew
from Thordis' kettle, and much more.

Revelry will almost certainly be ongoing!

Sunday morning, if anyone survives, the Ansteorran Longship Project will be
serving breakfast for a nominal fee.
