Parents, kids and notorizing...

The way that I understand it, if you bring a child to a site that is not
your own, the form must be notarized.  If it is your own, or you are the
legal guardian, it does not need to be notarized.  If you hate signing the
form every time you go somewhere, then do like I did - pay for your child to
be a family member.  Yes, it costs $10.00 more.  

My husband and I had a little disagreement over this one, but when we went
to Gulf War, we witnessed some of our friends have problems with the check
in and site fee because their children were not family members.  They also
had different last names due to divorce and re-marriage.  It is worth it to
pay the extra - the cost of a couple of Happy Meals - to not have to deal
with it every time you go through gate guards, especially at 2 AM, in 40
degree weather.
