Elfsea Defender and Investiture

GREETINGS FROM HL Zahra Zena Theanos, speaking as one of the hosts of the
Byzantine encampment.

Come stay with the Byzantine Camp at Elfsea Defender. We will have the
Hippodrome in our encampment, with competitions in Greco-Roman wrestling,
Belly-dancing and Drumming, Track and Field, and others.  We are also
hosting a Bezant making class for the children. Chariot races and Beauty
contests are rumoured. There will be an A & S competition, also. All
Norsemen (Varangian Guards), Saracens, Turks, Arabs, Greeks, Serbians,
Croatians, Phrygians, Sassanids, Israelites, Persians, Russians, and Mongols
are invited to camp with us (and anyone else who may have traveled to The
Holy Roman Empire, a.k.a. Byzantium or Miklegard.)
We will also be hosting a feast in our camp, and will be providing Beef and
Beer (21 and over only, we will be checking). Please contact Lady Kamile,
the other host of this encampment, (817/861-0949) if you would like to
contribute anything else to the camp or to the feast. 

Now, as the Baron and Baroness-Designates, Lord Llywelyn and I wish to
invite all to attend and participate in the multitude of Tournaments, Arts
and Sciences, Bardic Circles, Baronial Stepping and Investiture, and all the
many activities being sponsored withing the five Culture Camps: Byzantine,
Celtic, Chivalric, Japanes, Norse, and Sea Farers.  At Their Royal Majesties
Request, there are to be Circles held for all three peerages: Pelicans on
Saturday, Laurels and Knights on Sunday.  Duke Inman is also holding a
Seneschal's meeting on Sunday.

At morning Court on Sunday, the Laureling Ceremony of HL Stella Silvana is
to take place.

There will be lots of things to do, to see, and to enjoy!!! Please come!
