It's also obvious that the different regional identities are seen and 
observed as a reality by people from *outside* our kingdom. Within the 
past year at an after-meeting gathering at Mazzio's, we heard tell of a 
conversation between an Atlantian and an Outlander. Paraphrasing the 
story: the Atlantian said that she had had an enjoyable time with some 
friendly Ansteorrans. The Outlander expressed extreme disbelief. The 
Atlantian said again that it was really true and then the Outlander 
said,"Oh, you must mean *Northern* Ansteorrans!" (At which point the 
listeners erupted in loud cheering.)

Of course while there are probably stories about how much "whatever" 
other regions are compared to the rest of the kingdom, this story was 
just for educational purposes and to provide an example.
