The Chivalric Camp welcomes anyone of any culture who wishes to join our
celebration of the ideals of Chivalry: courtesie, largesse, prowesse,
humilitie, and honestie. Those who wish to visit or those who wish to camp
are all welcome.

Fighters! We ask that you display your shields before and immediately after
the lists in front of our "great hall".

Everyone's banners are needed to enhance the heraldic display that is so
much a part of the Age of Chivalry.

Bards may earn largesse by performing in the great hall during the camp
judging after the tourneys.

Feasting will take place in the great hall after court. If you have not
brought anything to share at the feast, a donation of five dollars is
requested. The feast will include: Chicken, pork and venison, veal dill
balls, brie tarts, maids of honor, strawberry sauce, sauce verte (basil),
sauce blanc, spicy pomegranate drink, parsley bread, white rolls, and
circlets (almond cardamom cakes), salat, rice pudding, and black pears and
fruits and vegetables. This feast has but a limited capacity, so please
speak to Lady Allessandra early.

Lady Allessandra's Ball will feature music and dancing and revelry;
musicians will be made especially welcome. Beginning after the feast.

Meetings of the Order of the Laurel and the Chivalry of Ansteorra will take
place on Sunday morning in the Great Hall.

Special thanks in advance are to due to Simone, Tarkus, Lyssa, Venora,
Elizabeth, and Willow. But we still need your help to make the camp even
more special.

Camp judging will consist of inspections of the camp between 4 and 6 pm on
Saturday (we'll be giving largesse for our favorite bardic performances
during that time, and we ask that fighters camping with us display their
shields before the hall and the banners be displayed by that time), plus
evaluations of the feast presentation made to the Baronial Table after
court.  The prize for best camp will be presented at Sunday morning court;
it's a beautiful chestful of booty, which we'll be distributing to those
who've made efforts toward its winning.

Questions regarding the Chivalric Camp may be directed to the Camp
Coordinators, Viscount Galen of Bristol (mitchell at dallas.genphysics.com) and
Lady Allessandra Beatrice Desiderio (kac2688 at utarlg.uta.edu).
