I always find it interesting when people use the SCA's status as a game as
an excuse for bad manners especially in light of the fact that the knightly
trait of courtesy is one of its primary goals.  While I realize that my
countrymen and I have fallen short of this ideal on occassion, I still feel
that it is a virtue worth pursuing.  Still I have always had the weakness of
being a little oversensitive, and so I apologize for my uncalled-for
reaction to the jest.
