My estimable and learned friend Burke is incomplete in his enumeration
of the Guardians of Mooneschadowe.  One Guardian goes ignored,
and perhaps rightly so by some lights.

However, it should not be forgotten that one Guardian was chosen not 
by heavy weapons but by boffers. While I was not present, the tale has
been related to me more than once how, after the Guardian event had been
cancelled due to impossible weather conditions, the tourney was resumed 
at another site (and unofficially).

One day, I promise, there will be a full accounting of the matter. Although
the "official" record stands as Sir Burke has related it, the memory will
be preserved in verse or tale.
