Are you worthy to join this list:

Duke Seamus of the Cats, KSCA, Lion
Centurian Robin of Gilwell, Pel., WSA, CSS, Lion
Duke Mikael of Monmouthshire, KSCA
Sir Galen Nicolli, KSCA, WSA
Viscount Galen of Brisol, KSCA
???you???

These are the Chivalric Guardians of the Tor, chosen in highly
challenging and enjoyable combat, in the Dragonpit (bearpit)
format. The collar of mail and leather that each of these men have
proudly worn, and the honor of championing one of the finest
up-and-coming groups in the kingdom are your reward, as well as
the opportunity to honor that one who inspires you.

Likewise, successors are sought for Don Miguel, the Duello Guardian,
and Don Sebastian, the Archery Guardian; similar collars, and
honors attend these offices.

And the Bard of the Tor will also be chosen. A bard's staff,
finer than any you have seen, is the pass-on prize.

For each of the last three years, someone has won two of these
honors. Master Robin was both Chivalric and Duello Guardian.
Don Miguel was Duello Guardian and Bard, I am now Chivalric
Guardian and Bard. Will Don Sebastian go a third straight
year as Archery Guardian and also pick up Duello? Will Don
Miguel go a third straight year as Duello Guardian and add
Chivalric Guardian to it? I'll be stepping aside as Bard, but
I'll be in both the Chivalric and Duello tourneys. Or will
someone new -- you? -- unseat us?

It's a great time! Last weekend in April! The flyer is on-line at
http://www.uta.edu/student_orgs/sca/guardian.htm

or can be reached via the Central Region (URL below) through
the Dragonsfire Tor or Elfsea sites. The autocrat is
Lady Gwyneth of Dovey, who can be reached at

st_dreynolds at tarleton.edu

You'll be sorry to miss it.
