If I had it to do again, I might choose a more typically
Norman name, like Robert, Geoffrey, William, Henry,
Richard, or John, and my byname would be a patranymic
rather than a placename.  "Geoffrey FitzRobert" just
screams "Norman", doncha think?  And there are no
"Sir Geoffrey"'s in Ansteorra.

look at them blanky and say "but I was given my name by my parents.....Oh!
You must be mistaking me for my father--Sir Galen.  No, I'm Geoffrey
