To all who would read these words: HRH Jafar al Safa, Crown Prince
of the Middle Kingdom, has been battling a systemic bacterial
infection since the weekend after Thanksgiving. He is in the Inten-
sive Care Unit at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis and is
under sedation. The latest development is that he has developed
pneumonia, although the bacteria that caused the problem has been
vanquished. Their Majesties are updating us daily on his condition
which can be accessed at the URL http://www.dnaco.net/~scababe/jafar/.
In light of this serious development, I write to you tonight to ask
of you your prayers to whomever you pray to. Be it Allah, God, the
Bodhisattva, the Goddess, whoever, Light a candle, pray, send your
thoughts toward Indianapolis. The more of us send our prayers and
thoughts that way, perhaps it will work and will bring Jafar back
to health. If you are going to a Solstice tonight, send your energy
toward Indianapolis. Pray for both HRH Jafar and his fiancee, HRH
Kenna, who has been keeping vigil at the hospital. I thank you for
letting me take a few minutes of your time.
