ANST - Thrown weapons

Being new to this subject, I could use some advice on throwing weapons
for use in this kingdom and also at Gulf Wars.  

Aside from being in good condition, ie., free from cracks, loose heads,
etc, what regulations apply? Size? Weight? What?
