Sorry about my first post -  I sent it accidentally, 
before I had a chance to add comments.

I don't think we were discussing the legal issues.  The original 
question was one of Kingdom Policy and I really felt it deserved an 
answer.  Obviously the Kingdom Seneschal felt the same, as he posted 
on the subject, too.

But we *have* acted on this - and quite some time ago.  We made the 
rule "NO alcohol with SCA funds" - even during the period when 
Corporate was allowing small purchases for use in cooking.
