Within reason, I don't have a problem with this. But just as with band-aids
or first-aid cream, if the same person were to come ask for this item at
more than an occasional event, I would encourage them to buy their own
supply. I would rather my friends be safe but each individual has to  
ultimately be responsible for themself.

And anyone taking advantage of the hospitality of the group must be 
caring of the hospitality. Using the groups adhesive bandages to hold gear 
together or using condoms provided by the group as balloons are both 
reprehensible wastes of others money and hospitality.
