As I read your original posting, the implication was that Knights 
take advantage of the incumbrence of the baldric.  I can see how this 
would be insulting to Sir Gunthar, and any Knight.  No true Knight 
takes unfair advantage of their opponent.

did think your MoA was misstreated.
