On this point I must disagree gently with you.

"They" are rendering "our" pay in the best "coin" to be had: seeing the
joy in the eyes of a "child" (any size or age -- even Barn!) enjoying the
companionship, sights, and sounds of our Society; feeling that joy in
our own hearts; being each of us given the chance to make that joy 
happen in a real and lasting way. 

There are many other examples that could follow, of course, but 
I happen to believe that you, and the others who read this, can
remember their own better than I can shape words for their 
recalling.

We do not but serve "the Dream", we live it!
