Favorite Period Books

Actually, my favorite periods books must be "Asterix & Obliex" and "Hagar the 
Horrible".  "Prince Valient" is a little wordy for me and I just can't get used
to that haircut but I do slog through it when I need to do some really serious
research. The first two books have really helped me with my early period personna.

Besides, the pictures are great for costuming.
