Well, there have been reigns when, apparently, absolutely no one in 
the entire kingdom was worthy of a Lion.  Not to mention reigns 
when there were no peers made among different orders.  I don't think 
it's ever gone 4 or more reigns, though, so I think I was safe with 
my original 2+ years number.  OK, so how often *do* blue moons occur, 
anyway?

Actually, IF we went for 2 or more years without adding anyone 
to either of those areas (peerage, lions) I'd be forced to stick by 
my original statement that standards are too high - I mean, when 
you've got as many people working/fighting/creating & playing 
personna as we've got, surely they can't all fall short for 
several years at a stretch....  

You got me on the county thing, though - dukes too.  There's 
always something I forgot.....  I guess that's why we're all here, 
to remind each other of what we hadn't thought of yet......
