I can answer that one.  Yes Ansteorra Knight's have been made on the
field.  His Grace Michael in both his last two reign's .  At least I
think it was him at Gulf Wars IV that knighted someone don't ask me whom.
 (My husbands lack of memory has rubbed off on me.)  I know other reign's
that have knighted person's on the field.
