Good gentles all,
These words that follow are only my perceptions but I would like to share them with you here. I did not attend the war but have heard much about it here and from friends afar. I think we should do more to tell of the deeds of our warriors there. So all of you who heard or saw or experienced the glory of that war please share with us.
Also, we should all look at the work that both of those companies did at war, and not forget the forces of the Barony of North Keep. North Keeps soldiers were there as well, those three forces and never gave ground, never broke rank or did not follow their orders, and held till the end. So we must in good faith mention all of them, North Keep, Mooneschadowe, and the Black Company and their commanders . These forces were there to fight for their kingdom and they did them proud. Only in the word fame given them by those friends that know what they did, do they receive the praise they deserve. The King asked for a war army and IMHO you need look no futher than the northern regions forces.
So for those that fought and those that died,

VIVAT!! Baron Thorgrim of North Keep
VIVAT!! Lord Talon of Moonschadowe
VIVAT!! the Northern Warriors
VIVAT ANSTEORRA!!!

They all deserve good praise...

Ld Owen doesn't give himself enough credit. I understand that as he tossed
this poor unfortunate fighter back into the Trimaran lines the look of
shock and dismay on the enemy's face was priceless. This group of young
fighters (the liondragon guard and the black company) consisted mostly of
people who had been in armor for less that a year. Only two or three could
be called seasoned fighters. They held the line against the main bulk of
the Trimarn army's charge of the gate not once but twice without breaking.
HL Gunhilda could be hear shouting that Ansteorran's didn't break or fall
back. She demanded that they die in place and not give ground (kind of
reminds me of a fight them on the beaches, fight them in the streets speech
from W. Churchill). Unfortunately she took a rock in the head a few
minutes later.
