The NSTIW story was fun ... but do we have to see the same one
*five or so times*?

Please, folks -- your mailer software should allow you to edit the
message that you're sending.  In particular, if you're replying to a
message and it includes some of the original text, it should allow you
to edit that.  THERE IS NO NEED (except for extremely rare cases) to
send out another VERBATIM copy of a message we've already seen.
Summarize the message, paraphrase, use only the sentences you're
replying to ... but have mercy on those of us with slow net links!
