the patrons of students are Catherine of Alexandria and
Thomas Aquinas, and of midwives is Raymund Nonnatus.

S. Thomas Aquinas is well-known.
I found nothing there for C. of A.
Drew a blacnk on Nonnatus ("unborn"?  Hrm.  Must be a good story.)
