Pray to St. Catherine of Alexandria, patron saint of scholars and female 
students.  Or to St. Genevieve, patron saint of Paris who pulled off lots 
of miracles.

I'd bet on Catherine if I were you.  She had an immense popularity in the 
Middle Ages.  Guess there had to be a reason for it.
