This type of tourney works ok when you have a King or Prince to choose the
victor from the combatants.  However if there is no royal figure to choose
the winner the roling snowball tourney is best as there is a winner.  As to
the "tennis" tourney stile I favor a modified "Swiss 5" style for touney
combat.  It assures the each fighter will ge at least 5 fights and that
there can be several people who will make it to the final rounds.
