My Lord Kanin, I was at the last officers meeting and from what I can
remember about the melees, yes there are some planned for each day. And
also by my failing memory, I believe they will include open field as
well as bridge, etc.

There were no restrictions named at the meeting, but that was several
weeks ago.  I do know that the reason for the melees is to provide all
fighters with chances to fight and practice for Pennisic and other
wars.  I hope this helps some.
