ANST - Skelmir

For those Norse types and others who might be interested, the Skelmir
was launched (again) this past Sunday at Calaveras Lake. The launch was
successful. The wind was too light and variable to really put her
through her paces, but overall she handled quite well. Special thanks to
Rognvaldr Tilbuin for his incessant enthusiasm and badgering. Thanks
also to the Ansteorra Longship Co. for allowing our boat to be stored in
their shed. For those who don't know, Valencia has a page linked to the
Bjornsborg page where the Skelmir is described in detail...better pix
too.
