ANST - Vigil for Corwin Von Xanten Plus last minute directions...

     Let it be known to all who come read these matters,
     Lord Corwin von Xanten,
     Son of the Honorable Lady Janais L'Orfevrie, Amazon
     Household,  will be knighted on Saturday, Oct. 25th, at Bryn Gwlad
     Baronial Investiture.
     The Vigil will  hosted at the castle gates by the Amazon household
     on Friday night beginning at sunset.  The knighting will be held in
     court on Saturday morning.
     (10:00 a.m. SCA  time).
     All are invited to join in the vigil and the celebration of this
     event.

 The Barony of Bryn Gwlad invites you to our: Fall Harvest Festival October 24-26, 1997 

 Camp Ben McCullogh is heavily shaded  with both water and electricity running
  discreetly to many of the campsites. Site  opens at 4 PM on Friday and closes at Noon
  on Sunday. Alcoholic beverages are allowed  in period containers. Pets are encouraged, but
  must be under owner's control at all times  and have rabies certificate. Minors must have
  notarized waiver form or have accompanied  by parent or legal guardian. There will be
  family camping available. Depending on  weather conditions, Onion Creek has swimming areas. No period swimming. 

  Directions:
  From Austin:
           Take IH35 to Ben White/290/71 (Exit 230B). Go West on Ben White. Where 290 and 71
  separate (~6 1/2 miles) take 290 (to the left). Turn left onto 1826 (~1 mile). Camp Ben McCullogh
  is 13 miles down 1826 (~1/2 mile after 967) on the left-hand side, directly across from the Salt
  Lick. 
  From San Antonio:
           Take IH35 to 967 in Buda. Go west on 967. 967 dead ends into 1826. Go south on 1826
  (~1/2 mile). Camp Ben McCullogh is on the left-hand side, directly across from the Salt Lick.
